THE PLAN FOR THE BOOKS
Each book will be published and promoted as part of a series and individually in our standard arrangement which includes the free creation of an eBook, world distribution for paperback and eBook versions as well as launch and ongoing publicity. The decision about paperback book production is with the copyright holder. The cost of print and storage is not part of the standard package. Royalty payment to copyright holders is 50%. When ghost writers are used anonymously or as credited co-writers this royalty will normally be shared 25% and 25%.
The books will initially be created as eBooks.
The number of words will depend on the extent of illustrations but the length of the whole is planned to be around the equivalent of a 96-page paperback book which if it were all words would be around 25,000 to 30,000 words. To make sure of the human interest there will need to be at least 12,500 words, usually a lot more.
Each eBook will normally be sold for £3.99 inc UK/EC VAT but based on a world price of $3.99 plus tax. Each will also be offered at times at $0.99 and $1.99 in promotions.
Profitable ways to create print versions will be explored.
